OK, if I do a SOA with my stock springs in the rear for improved articulation, is axle wrap going to be a problem? Also, what did you SOA guys do with the 3rd shock, ditch it? I don't have it on anymore with the superlift springs in the rear. I know with Heeps when you do a SOA there is axle wrap problems and you have to install a anti-axle wrap bar, what about with our Explorers???

You''ll probably get some people saying it'll be a problem, but I say don't worry about it. Rangers come stock with SOA, plus a 2 1/2" block in there. It's the same axle! I also have an additional 2" block put in (bad, I know), so think about how much leverage there is on my springs. I get a little wrap, but big deal! They still look decent and perform great.
I think axlewrap is only a problem if you have lots of HP and a heavy foot. (picture the Mustang in the movie "Bullitt".
