This was a surprise.
I drove through a moderate rainfall for about 30 minutes of highway speeds plus 5 minutes of stop and go traffic. A final right turn into my work location and I had to lower the window to scan my security badge to enter the site.
It was drizzling at most and when I opened the window, what seemed like a waterfall of water dropped the length of the window; onto the mirror controls, window controls and back to the handle. My left arm and thigh got a a little wet as well. There doesn't seem to be a way to hold so much water in that area since the window goes up into the door frame.
This is different than the water hitting you from the top seal area (or bottom water channel) when opening a door.
Has anyone else had this experience?
