Soft riding shocks

Good point about the valving maniak. To put it briefly, I can't recommend Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks for any A-arm truck (which means 91-94 Explorer, pre-93 ranger, 68-76 Bronco, full size bronco etc). Maybe they are not so bad on the torsion bar front end of 95+ or the no-leaf spring 02 Explorer but that I don't know. I just know they are way too firm for 1st gen suspensions. But the IAS is made to be firm, give more control while cornering, etc.

A friend has the lower-line rancho 5500 and they are very nice. Of course the higher-line 9000 series is the one that's adjustable I believe.

Sears is currently offering, thru 24 AUG 02, free install on purchase of Monroe and Rancho shocks and struts. Sears stocks SensaTracs and Rancho 5000s and 9000s. Both with lifetime parts and labor warranties at no charge.

I wish Sears had told me about the Rancho 5000s and 9000s being on sale too. But I am pretty happy with the SensaTracs, and at about $150 installed how could I complain.
