Im looking for a smaller SOHC badge from any vehicle that I can place on the rear hatch just to be diffrent. Something that isnt RICER looking maybe from another ford vechicle?

Any thoughts on this

You could really confuse them by putting the DOHC (yes, DOHC) badge from a 2001 Sable on there...

I see no need for it.

Actually I personally like to remove all badging; makes it easier to Zaino the truck.

I think it'd be cool looking if you got the right one. I don't know where to get one though, I just thought I'd back you up since no one else likes the idea.

Anyone know where to get a V6 badge? I've been wanting a couple to fill in the empty void on my front fenders.

The 2001 Ford Escape has a V6 Badge!
The 6 is in the middle of the V, My mechanic should have 3 of them for me tonight for my Explorer. If you have any more questions, you know how to reach me.

Any Ford dealer's parts dept should be able to provide badges. Over on the Sport Trac board, several people have put on the V6 badging.

Ok Ive decided to skip it and keep the stealth look. Thanks for the responses.

woo hoo!

I'm going to the dealership today to have my 4x4 off road decals from a Ranger put on. Guess what I'll be ordering off of an Escape while I'm there? Yes!

Yesterday my Dealership's Parts guy could not find the part number for the chrome v6 emblems off the escape. So I went to the Sport Trac Web site(mysporttrac.com) and found the part number there. I just called my dealership back and gave them the part number and they easily found the chrome v6 emblems off the escape. So to make it easy on all of us here who want to get these, here is the part #.

chrome v6 emblems off the escape

By the way for you guys with a V8, there is an emblem for you too! the new 2002 Explorers have a V8 emblem, I do not know the part number but I bet Torrie from Ford Parts Network would be able to help you out.

Pardon the ignorance....

But how do you put these badges on?

Thanks
