Hi, I was wondering what fan belt size you guys are using on your SOHC engines? At the moment I'm using a 6pk 2205 but it's too loose as the tensioner is at the end of it's travel and the belt does slip sometimes. It's hard to judge by eye how much of a shorter belt I would need. I would like to order the shortest fan belt I can get that will still fit on the pulleys.

Any advice would be highly regarded, thankyou...;)

I just replaced the serpentine belt on my '98 SOHC and it was 86.75".
And the tensioner still has some travel left. Although not much.

Most all of the belts are 86.5" - 87.25", so not sure why your 2205
would be too long. 2205mm = 86.8"

The K060860 is 86 inches. 1/2" shorter than stock, and centered on the tensioner marks. (Gen 1 Sport Trac)
