Lately I've had trouble with my a/c blowing out the defrost and floor. Sometimes it works as it should, comes out the vents. The next time it comes out the floor and defrost. If I push the recirculate button off, it will switch back to the a/c vents. When I push recirculate again it goes back to defrost floor. I got under the dash and pushed the actuator in for vent, but it springs back to floor/defrost until I turn off the recirculate. Anyone know whats wrong here? Nothing on the door seems broke, and everything moves like it should. Why does it work one time and the next it don't, and what does the recirculating button have to do with the floor/def/vent selection?

EDIT: I found my problem. I popped the hood and started tracing vacuum hoses. There was a hose disconnected on the right side that goes to what I think adjusts the water flow thru the heater core. It's underneath the air intake hose.

EDIT AGAIN: That did not fix my problem, but I did find the hose was disconnected at the blend door. It must have worked it's way off. It works great now.
