Year, Model & Trim Level
2000 4x4 4 door
2000 4x4 expo. did an 1.5 shackle lift on my x all level side to side. Move on the the front and the passenger side ground to fender is 33 and 1/4 inch but the driver is 34 and 1/2 ground to fender. So i do the driver side and had to max the bolt out to get it to 34 1/2. so i got 1.5 lift in rear 1.25 on driver front and none on passenger side.

I read on here that having to install a 100mm bolt is common but i cant for the life of me see how a longer bolt will help get more lift. Also can any body give me an appx (i know there is no set ride height from ford) ground to fender height i should get after the bars are turned to 1.5 inch of lift using a 235/85-r15

the longer bolt simply pushes the key further, making more tension (twist).

:salute:

I have a 3in BL, double AAL, and TT. with 35s. and my ground to fender

measurement in the front is 42in passenger side, 41.5 drivers side
the rear is 43.5

You should measure from the ground to the lower control arm bolt up front, ground to frame in rear.

Using body panels to measure ride height will just mess you all up-as they rarely line up level with the vehicles frame. Just an FYI for you--

:D

Is there a way i can tell if the truck was lifted before i got it?

judging by the measurements you took earlier.....I highly doubt it

most explorers sit between 33 and 34 in the front, and 32 and 33 in the rear.
