for the past few weeks, something hasn’t felt right when I have had my foot on the accelerator of my ‘94 XLT. It’s hard to explain, but there is a slight vibration that just isn’t normal. It feels maybe a bit like friction or a very very slight grinding, sort of like something is not lubricated. I know this truck and something isn’t right. I’m thinking maybe a wheel bearing? Last time I had the front driver’s side jacked up, there was just a bit of play in the wheel. The ball joints are only a bit over a year old, so I don’t think they would be the cause of the wheel play. The vibration doesn’t seem to exist when I’m in neutral and stopped. Could it be something else? Transmission? Thanks!

I have removed my front rotors and re-packed the bearings in the past when replacing the ball joints, but haven’t done a bearing replacement before. Do both wheels need to be done at the same time? Do I need to remove and replace the inner and outer races? I’m not sure if the races are removable, or integrated into the rotors. Thanks!

you can do just one side but I would check the other side too the races come out a punch and a hammer from the other side be careful getting it out and even more so putting in the new race.
