Somethings not right...

Well, have had the Limited now for almost 2 weeks and the only complaint I have is the acceleration. You almost have to floor it to merge onto the highway fast enough. Are these things know to be a little slower? Also, I can't seem to pinpoint the surging problem that has arisen. It's only when accelerating and feels more like something grabbing, like a brake, than the engine. There seems to be an excessive amount of drivetrain noise while accelerating as well, it almost sounds like it's in 4wd. The tranny fluid looks a little darker, and smells a little old so the next thing on the list is a filter and fluid change for it. Any ideas or am I just expecting to much in regards to speed from it. Still, with these complaints it is an awesome ride and I am more than impressed. Someone took real good care of it, and for the year the mileage is super low. 160,000 km's (not to sure what that is in miles)

Replace the fuel filter, clean the MAF sensor, throttle body, and IAC solenoid. Adjust the kickdown cable, and the bands. Replace the transmission filter, and fluid.

The MAF and IAC should be cleaned with the same stuff right? Not throttle body cleaner?

You could use MAF cleaner spray or electrical contact cleaner. Only use fuel injection throttle body cleaner which is sensor safe. Carb cleaners are made for carbureted engines.
