sometimes i just wish i had an expedition... they make everything for those damn suv's why not the 2002 EXPLORER SPORT???? i dont understand. Expeditions have everything out for them and if you get the right crap they dont look half bad... anyway me just venting and saying sometimes i just wish for the xpedition

For the front end you can use whatever is out for the 2001+ Explorer Sport or the 2001+ Explorer Sport Trac.
Your suspension is basically the same as a 2001 4-door. The Expedition has been the same for several years so aftermarket companies have developed products for them. Your model wasnt introduced until mid 2000 so they need time for R & D unless of course you want crappy parts. Just give it some time.

My suspension is the same as a 2001... or basically the same... like could i buy a drop kit for the 2001 explorer 4door and it work with my sport... or would i need to call the dealership for that one?

Im prettty sure you could (you have torsion bars in the front and leaf springs under the axle in the rear) But I don't know if Ford made any weird screwy differences.

Nobody is going to produce much aftermarket stuff for a new automobile. It wouldn't make any sense. What if Ford decided to completely change the entire X line next year and manufacturers had spent gobs of money producing mods specifically for the '01 & '02. They would have a great loss. Manufacturers have to wait to see if enough people buy the things and want mods (demand) before they even think of producing products (supply).

hmm sombody just took economics... i know i learned about supply + demand =total revenue... or something like that anyway yea i know about the supply and demand curve blah blah but i mean come on i was just statin my opion not *****ing about they wont come out with any after market stuff... actually i am but ohh well

Yeah. The Push and Pull Marketing Strategy. When you push, the consumers make the company to produce the goods then market the product. When consumers are demanding a certain product, the maker needs to make and sell the product. It's a win/win situation...we get the product, they get the moola.
