Sony Sound System vs Premium Sound System

I fully realize the Sony sound system has more watts and is connected to a sub woofer, but would like to ask the question, "would it be possible to swap out the premium sound system MFT head unit and put in a Sony MFT head unit?"

To me the premium sound system head unit is very weak and produces just okay sound at best.

The wiring of the system is completely different. It has an amplifier,different speakers, different control panel, etc. The audio system, including MFT would also have to be reprogrammed.

I kind of figured that, unfortunately the head unit is almost impossible to change. If anyone has figured out a way to change the head unit, please post. I can guarantee with confidence, even an inexpensive Pioneer head unit would sound better than this factory unit.

Nix things like the vehicle health report, that does zero for most people, put the money into a better head unit, speakers, etc. In summary, I would rather have less features and higher quality components.
