I recently purchased a Sony Xplod CDX-F7700 mp3/cd player for my '91 EB. I love it. It's a great deck. The audio quality is superb and the display is a great asset.
I know that there are several add-on modules that you can buy for the system, such as a cd-changer and xm tuner module, that use the display and controls on the head unit for song title, channel selection, volume control, etc.
I'm trying to find information on the interface that these devices use to take advantage of the unit in this way (so that I can use it myself for my own purposes). Does anyone know if that interface might be detailed somewhere? I know it's a long shot, but I have no idea who to ask about this, and google is no help at all for such things.
