I found this site last Fall and registered but then left and forgot about the it. Well, call me the prodigal son, but I've finally made my way back to the promise land. Really this site is great and now that I'm back I guess I should register my explorer and become official.

Dislikes:
no 4Hi, only 4Auto
lack of power
can only seat two people in back seat

I have a few mods in store for it in this order:
1. Clearance - Wheels & Lift
2. Power - K&N & Exhaust
3. Protection - skid plates
4. More Clearance - Bigger tires & more lift.

Once we (my wife & I) get another vehicle for her to drive I can start getting real serious about it.

If anyone can offer suggestions about my list please do so.

Hi, welcome back to the site!

I have an identical setup.

I can't help you with the seat thing but if you don't like 4-auto, then you can do a straight swap to a manual transfer case, that's what i'm doing.

About the power thing, when my truck is running right, I think it has plenty of power. How long has it been since it's had a tune-up?

As for the engine it is running fine, except maybe for a IAC sensor that goes on the blitz once in awhile. The power in it is fine but can you really ever have ENOUGH power.
