Hey All!
Just bought myself a 95' explorer XLT about a month ago and I'm just getting to the hang of things. The radio is stock, the previous owner I guess put in a 5 or 6 CD changer in the console under the arm rest between the driver and front passenger seats. My problem is that I'll be listening to the radio and when I go over bumpy roads, or anytime I'm not on extremely smooth surfaces, the radio goes in and out and makes fuzzy noises to the point where you cant hear it until the car is on smoother roads. I don't think its an antenna problem, because I purchased an FM transmitter for my iphone and when that's plugged in, it doesnt matter what I'm driving over, the sound is crystal. Any idea on what the problem could be or could the radio just need changing? Thanks in advance!
