that particular sub comes in both dual 2 Ohm and dual 4 Ohm models and they're the same price so its no big deal to make the adjustment. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I'll adjust me plans for which sub to get.

I'll be running 2 batteries one under the hood and one in the factory sub location. Will be using 0ga power and ground from battery and if possible 0ga from the HO alternator to batteries. If I can run 0ga directly to the amps I'll do so most definitely as well

A capacitor is more a money maker for the manufacturers than any help to an audio system. They cannot create power, so it is simply something else stuck inside a closed power loop that will USE some of it. If you find you don't have enough amperage capacity, a second (or more) battery and a HO alternator is the recommendation. Caps CAN serve a purpose, but I can only see them being useful in a competitive "burp" situation, and SPL guys don't use them.

Capacitors are useless.

Upgrade all the grounds you can and even add some if you can. If the 00' models are anything like the 98' models there should be 3-4 ground straps underneath the vehicle I'd recommend ugrading

Here you go man. This is with 3/4" MDF because 1" is hard to come by. Don't worry though. This box is not going to have a problem with flexing

4 cu ft tuned to 33Hz with 75 in^2 of port area

OMG THAT IS INCREDIBLE! I'll be having this box built for the Orion subs this spring. I'm going to double check the width of that cargo space in a couple minutes and get back to you with confirmation of that width.
