spare tire winch

well - I have just had my 4th spare tire stolen last night and need to replace my winch again and find an even better lock system/mouse trap.

I had this lock on it:

and I usually get my replacement wheels from here:

Anyone have any better locks systems or cheaper place to get the wheels?

I also need to get another winch system - anyone who happened to have an extra one sitting around that they would like to sell????

What about a chain that runs through the wheel and around the frame crossmember?
Any tire shop would have a spare simple wheel laying around for a spare.

What about keeping the spare inside and strapping it down? I know it uses up a lot of cargo space but at least you can lock it up inside and know it won't get stolen.

I will have to keep in inside until I figure out the better mouse trap - it does take up a HUGE amount of room and I need that valuble room for work as I use the vehicle as a work vehicle.
