Hi all.
I feel I must pass on the information that parts from the US are a doddle.
On the 20th I ordered a bushing for the clutch master cylinder pushrod for my Explorer, it arrived in the post this morning!
Fastpartsnetwork.com are the bees knees in my opinion, and as I own an import manual there are no parts available in GB for it.
So, I am one happy bunny.

KBABIAK is also a guy to speak to on here for parts, he sourced me some bits and they were so much cheaper than here, and they didn't take long to arrive!!

Excellent!

Parts

Hi blueka
Yes it's good when you get a good result from parts suppliers.
It stuffs it to the main dealers who don't give a damn.

I've bought parts from Rockauto.com cheaper than buying in the UK even with postage. I like their ordering process as the shipping costs are calculated at the checkout - you don't have to email them and hang around waiting for a reply. AND they accept Pay Pal as a method of payment.

Excellent service from Rock Auto.com. I paid by credit card and was debited the cost of the product but please note that the carriage was charged independently by FedEx and invoiced as a separate issue. Parts arrived within four days.Amazing!!

Hey, I too own a import (mine is Canadian made), I'll keep this website handy for sure.

Hi UKExplorer
Tell me, is yours a SOHC auto or like mine a OHV manual, I have not heard of another manual in UK so far.

Mine is a automatic, I saw another manual American made Explorer on ebay a while back, was that yours? My X is a 1994........:exp:

Manual Explorer

No mine was purchased from a dealer in Stone, Staffs.
I also know the former owner.

manual gearbox Ex

Is your Explorer a 3 door or a 5 door?? Just curious, because usually the 3 door was a manual gearbox............you do seem to have quite a unique Ex though......:exp:
