I've just ordered a set of TM headers and figured I may as well replace the spark plugs at the same time. What plugs would be good with these headers? I don't really know much about spark plugs.

Also, is there any other maintanence I should do while I'm doing the headers?

I would replace your plug wires while you are at it if they are very old at all. The only spark plug to use is Motorcraft single platinum. I would recommends that you buy some plug wire heat shield boots to protect your plug wires. It makes it much easier to route your wires. Some plug wire separators are helpful as well. You can click the link in my signature to read my write up, it may help with your install.

Yea, I actually plan on printing your writeup out while doing the install. Does it matter what wires I get, or are they all pretty much the same?

My preference is Motorcraft wires, there are none better. I had to buy Borg Warner wires because no Motorcraft wires were available locally. Some people have bought Taylor brand wires and used them. The difficulty is finding the right kind of boot connectors for the coil packs. Its all a matter of what you have time and money for. I don't really recommend the Borg Warner wires as they seemed cheaply made to me.

Do Autozone or Advanced not have Motocraft plugs and wires?

When you are done installing the headers, be sure to take extra time to route the plug wires away from the headers. I rushed the job because I really wanted to start it up with the new headers and I ended up burning out a wire after a couple days.

I use E3 spark plugs with Taylor Thundervolt wires.
