I am going to change my plugs this weekend and i just wanted to know what brand people are using. It is a stock OHV 2000 sport. Should i just use the dealer ones or do people recommend a different brand that might help me out with th gas mileage. The truck runs great but the MPG is really bad.

i use factory motercraft plugs, cant go wrong!

Motorcraft or Autolite...I prefer Motorcraft.

Whatever you do, DON'T buy Splitfire, +2, +4, etc plugs...serious waste of money. They are all marketing gimmicks and don't really improve performance.

I agree with jdraper, splitfire plugs, WASTE of money. They want you to think your spark is going to ark on all 2 or 4 ground points, The plug will only ark on one ground point at a time. worthless.

You should be just fine with the MotorCraft.

Thansk guys for all your help
