Alright I did a search but didnt find really what I was looking for. I just went to ford today and got a set of spark plugs and wires... which i'll never do again since ford charged me almost $9 a plug, but anyway, how long should it take to replace all my plugs and wires? I have the 4.0 OHV, and I believe I have all the tools I need but I do not have too much time, but need to get it done. I just want to see If I will have time to do it tomorrow or if I have to wait. I am pretty good with cars but by far no expert. Thanks:thumbsup:

You should be able to do the job in about 1 hour.

Good luck ....

Updated. Maybe you'll get a few more hits now. ;)

Thank you, its been a long day ha.

It took me about 3 hours to change the plugs and wires. I work slow (e.g. did one at a time and started engine after replacing each plug to ensure no problems). Most time consuming process was routing driver's side wires to the coil. I have limited mechanical experience.

I bought my parts (OEM Motorcraft) through Amazon. Plugs were about $40 and wires were about $35 including shipping (Troy Ford was the vendor).
