Hi everyone,

I have a weird problem with my 97 Explorer and I cannot figure out what the issue is.

I will be driving and my speakers will kick out whenever I hit a bump. This will happen on all the speakers. To get the speaker to play sound again, I have to turn the volume way up and then it's all good until I hit another bump. I've checked my head unit and connections, and everything looks good. What do you guys think is my problem?

I put in an Apline Deck with 4 Pioneer 6x8 Speakers. It does this with the radio and the cd player, but not because it's skipping.

Oh, well i got a friend who is a genius with stuff like this, ill talk to him

Do you have amps??

Do you have amps??

All I know is that the Explorer came with the Premium sound package. I used a wiring harness from Best Buy that was for the premium sound.

Bump

Also, when I a shut a door, the sound from the front passenger right speaker fads out. I hear a very faint noise from it and to get it back to the sound it should be at, I have to turn the stereo up real loud.
