96' Ford Explorer XLT
Howdy,
I just redid the whole system in my 96' XLT. I'll give out a list of everything that I did first of all:
-Pioneer HU 740 (cd/mp3 player one)
-Kicker KX600.4 (for the doors)
-Kicker Resolution Rs6c Components (front doors)
- Kicker K65.2 Components (rear doors)
-KX500.2 (subs)
- 2x 12" Kicker CompVR's
- Custom Box... 2.6 cubic feet per sub
- Lightning Audio 1 Farad Cap

I think thats about everything. Alrite, My subs are Excellent, Nothing wrong with them at all. The problem that I do not like is with my Door Speakers. I'm running 3 sets of RCAs off of my HU for Front/Rear/Sub. There is new wire to all of the Speakers going straight to my amp. I guess im picking up some noise somewhere. When I play some quiet stuff or if my music stops at all I just hear a fuzz. If there is music playing you can still hear it perfect. Im just getting some fuzz out of the speakers when there should be dead silenece. Its not because the Volume is turned up High because, it does it on volume 1 or at volume 40.

any Ideas? I hope I explained this well enough
Thanks alot,
Kendal

Check your ground wire on the amps to the door speakers and your hu. ground. Had the same problem and it was one of those that fixed mine.
