well i`ve been riding around for about a month with no door panels and only one front kenwood speaker in.
yesterday i decide to put the other one in. so i put it in and it works fine while sitting in the drive way. well i shut the door and ALL the speakers stop eacept the subwoofers are still going....
i kick the inside of the the door and its like the vibration go's through the speakers....
they all USUALLY work unless i hit a big bump or something they they all go out again except the subwoofers.
whats the problem???

you have an exposed wire that is shorting when it touches metal. i'm assuming you are using a head unit to power the door speakers and a seperate amp to power the subs...

the rca going to the subs and the subs wiring isn't grounding out which is why they are working fine.

the other speakers wires must be grounding somewhere, does it still use the stock wires? do you see anywhere near the speaker it could be grounding? did you install the hu?

^exactly sounds like a wiring issue!!

need a little more info though.....
