Speaker problems

ok, Im having a problem with my back right rear speaker. It isnt as loud as the other ones, even when I trade out the other speakers. I changed the wires so the right rear went to the left rear, left rear to the right rear and then the left left rear was weaker. My dad thinks the problem is in my head unit, but that doesnt really make alot of sense. Also, I thought it was wierd, but ever since I put my head unit in its alot louder. The numbers go up to 32, but putting it at 10 will give distortion, and its very loud. Im thinking the whole problem may be something with the factory amp, but then again who knows. Any ideas with this problem?

If you put in an aftermarket you should definate bypass the factory amp. Not doing so is asking for problems. I'd get the bypass harness and see if that clears it up.
