Speaking of welding.

If anybody did some welding on their rigs please let me know if disconecting the battery is enough to protect the electronic components on my truck? I'll be using MIG welder.

What should I disconect just to be on a safe side?

Disconnecting the negative battey cable is enough to protect your alternator and computer.

And when you weld make sure your negative is close to the spot you are welding.
