Spedometer, Odometer stopped working

The GEM provides also power for all the speed sensors inside Transfer Case.
It's easy to check to see if all the connectors are seated in correctly.

Ok, what is the GEM and how do I do this?

The GEM module located behind/under the fuse panel (inside the cabin, driver side) controls all of the above items. Either he unplugged some of it's connectors (bottom of fuse box) or he shorted some wires.

The tachometer works
Fuel gauge works
