Hey all got a question........

My Odometer stopped working the other day, but the speedo is still working. I'm about to sell the truck and it would probably be a good idea if I sold a truck with a working odometer. lol

So what needs to be replaced? The whole cluster or what?

Thanks,
Boda

There may be a fuse that controls the odometer, i remember someone once telling me about it, but Im not sure if it applies to your model or not. Its worth a shot though. I couldnt tell you what fuse it is either.

I don't think it is the fuse. Was trying to pull it apart but I couldn't get the cluster out because the A/C / Radio panel was holding me back. How do I remove that? Does it simple pop out. I was tugging on it pretty good but only the top half came apart.

Also, I can't sell a truck with an odometer not working, can I?

It has 2 screws on top of the A/C unit control i have a pic from my cardomain i hope this helps, and btw my odometer dosnt work either so i will keep an eye on this i hope u can fix it so i can fix mine as well

fwiw, the fuse for the odometer controls the speedometer, windows, and interior/overhead dome lights. If any of the other items are working, it's not a fuse problem.

awwww =[ so what could it be????

Not sure, I'm just as lost......lol

I'm putting the truck in the Autotrader this weekend, so I think I need to get this fixed.

Thanks!

I heard its a plastic gear behind the gage cluster. So I'm pulling it out tomorrow and getting it to the guy that knows how to change them. I'll let you know how it goes.

BTW how do you access the screws that hold down the front accessory panel?

Thanks

so what ever happened did u get it fixed?

Not yet. Supose to leave it with him tomorrow.
