Hello all. So I had to fish a friend out of a flood last night and have suffered a confusing problem from it. My speedo went out on me right afterward and I noticed the brakes felt noticeably weaker even after rideing them for a minute or two to dry them. I pulled the fuses for the ABS and my brakes are back, but as you could imagine no speedo. I did find out that the speedo still woks in neutral which confuses me even more. I figured it was the speed sensor on the transfer case at first, but then the ABS went out and I thought that had its own sensors. This is in my '97 X 5.0 AWD. Any ideas?

So new development. If I let off the throttle while moving the speedo will slowly move up and will work untill I have to accelerate again. Could that be something like a TSS? Do these trucks even have a TSS?
