speedo cable location

well im going to be doing a sas and soa in the rear with a 9 inch or d60 and i heard someone say that they had to replace their speedo cables with the rear diff swap on a 2 wd. so i was wondering if that was true or not i dont know much about that stuff only suspensions so a little help would be cool

This for your '92?

The speedo cable is on the back of the T-case (or transmission), you'll be fine there. The ABS brakes is another story though (although not having ABS isn't a big deal for most people).

FWIW, both the 9" and a D60 rear don't really offer much over your stock 8.8" in the way of strength unless you do some upgrades on it, I'd probably keep it unless it's fullwidth axles you're after.
