speedo needle shakes until 25mph

my speedo kinda shakes as it accelerates to 25mph and then goes smooth again, any idea what causes this? do these trucks use a cable like the mustangs or is it computer controlled?

yours is cable with a gear in the transmission. Didn't become computered control til 98

ok cool thanks, the cable probably needs lubricating then or something. ill have to try it sometime.
