Speedo problem

My speedo is getting stuck while accelerating. It catches up to the speed of the vehicle but does the same when de-celerating. It is an intermittent problem, but an anoing one.

What speed does it get stuck on? It sounds like a gauge problem. This question should be posted in a regular forum, not the new members forum. It will get more attention that way. Maybe a moderator could move it?

Indeed, it does sound like a gauge problem, but the only way to know for sure would be to hook up a good diagnostic scanner and monitor the speedo output from the GEM to the cluster. That'll tell you for sure if it's the gauge or a signal issue.
