Speedometer and Tach Stopped

HELP...Just got a 2002 Eddie Bauer V8 4wd. 124k miles. The speedometer dropped to zero and soon there after the tach dropped to zero. All other cluster indicators working fine. When she starts the vehicle the center digital lights (radio etc.) Flicker for a few moments..not sure if it's related. Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

How long have you owned it? Did you buy from a dealer or private sale?

I'd first check to see if the fuses are in good shape or not. Report back.

Owned it a little over a month. Bought from a clearance center from a dealership. Clean vehicle check.

I would take it back to the dealership ASAP and see if they'd be willing to work with you. Dealerships usually have a 30-90 "warranty" policy on used cars. Otherwise, check the fuses out to see if any are burnt. If you don't have a manual, I can upload pictures when I get home to help show you where to look.

FYI,the 02 model year has the most electrical complaints.
