Spindle lift question

I want to do the 3" spindle lift for my 97' 2wd explorer. I was wondering if you need a drop pitman arm for the steering because i already have a 2" body lift. Also if i need to put on new brake lines in.

Your steering is called a rack&pinion. The steering is fixed. A drop pitman arm only applies to 1st Gens with 4 or more inches of lift. You won't need anything new. Double check your brake lines just to be sure nothing gets too tight as your suspension travels.
