As Phil said, the answer is NO.

Other than the Brakes, and the ring & pinion, there are no parts in the front end that are directly interchangeable from the 91-94 Explorers to the 95-01 Explorers.

They are both Dana35's. But the 91-94 is called the D35 TTB (twin traction beam), and the 95-01 are called D35 IFS (Independant Front Suspension). And while it's true that both are Independant Front Suspensions....only the latter is actually CALLED that.

You might try posting this in one of the 2nd gen forums where they will know better. 1st gens only go up to '94. I suspect they will swap just fine, but can't be sure.
