Hey all, I am going to put one or 2 15 inch subs in my explorer. I am looking at a few different ones, but in your opinions what would be the loudest? Rockford, JL, or Kicker? I am leaning towards Kicker's L715's, JL W712's (outperform most 15's) or the ver top end rockford 15's. Looking to have 1500-4000 combined watts in ported enclosures depending on the subs. Let me know what will pound the loudest out of the above, and still have decent sound quality at lower levels? I have heard good things about rockford, but the again the square ones are so cool, but then again- the W7's... lol

if you got the budget for it, then go for the W7's.
if not, then either of the kicker or rockford subs will hit hard. i think the L7's will hit harder, but the Rockford Power HX2's will sound a little better.

I would go with the W7's, they will have the sound level of a 15 and the "accuracy" of a 12, not that the accuracy of a 12 is that special, but they will POUND...just my opinion
