A month ago I got a call form my dealer to do the toe link recall update, at that time my truck didn´t have any sounds or noises of any kind.
Days after I got the truck back I noticed a spring like sound from the rear suspension, passenger side. That happens every time there is torsion on the frame, like a bump stop not taken straight, when going through a ramp, etc. It´s not something really annoying but it isn´t a normal sound.
My truck is a 2013, it´s out of warranty, i didn´t want to take to the stealership, I have an appointment for next Wednesday 11, maybe someone went through something like this.

Thanks in advance

I was just told by the dealer that it is a worn rear RH shock absorber.
Is it a good idea to change both?

I would since the other can't be too far behind and will have already likely lost some of its function.

Big update

Didn't go for the strut replacement and at that time took the vehicle out of the dealer. Took my trusted mechanic and he found 2 bad bushings. 1 in the rear left upper control arm, the bushing is in the back, it looks like a camera. The other was in the knucle, where the toe link goes. Also the upper and lower anti squeak mounts of the spring were bad. Truck ride is perfect, no noises of any kind.
