It sounds like metal on metal. It's produced when I enter a driveway or something similar. I don't think it's the ball joints and I cant tell if it's the CV joints. I replaced the transmission mount cause it looked deteriorated. I lubed everything I can think of. Any way to lube a CV joint? You would have to reband it?
I have the Torsion bar tweaked about a half inch, maybe that's causing some stress somewhere.
Any ideas? I'll try anything you shoot at me!

Did you check your wheel bearings? Mine made a similar noise, anytime I would take anything in a angle. The other thing shocks? I would try it, push down on one fender at a time, ford says at school if it bounces more than 3 times, they need replaced. Just food for thought

try greasing your rear sway bars and your tailgate

Check the rear springs real close. They tend to crack around the first two turns on the top and bottom. Amazing they tend to sit on the broken section for quite a long time without any indication except a creak at low speed. I had 5 breaks on my 02 total on both sides and still had normal wheel height. Very common in the 02.

Mine was also squeaking like crazy recently. I bought new shocks but have not yet installed. I took it by my local service friend and he checked it out and saw nothing. He shot WD40 everywhere...bounced the front end after each location. the squirt on the front sway bar bushings seemed to be the culprit. No squeaking now and hopefully my Ranchos will help with the bounce.

Hey guys thanks for all the responses! I have done everything posted here I think. Lubed EVERYTHING imagineable. It's not the bearings, leaf springs are good, just replaced shocks, replaced tranny mount.
I said squeak but I think it's kinda a pop from metal on metal. As a few of my mechanic friends have helped try to find this we think finally that it's coming from inside the tranny. I think this is crazy! But I have laid under the tranny while a buddy is moving the truck by bouncing or jacking it up and it's gotta be from in there!
Has anyone heard of something like this? I just had the tranny rebuilt 3k ago.

Found it, it was the cross member that holds the tranny, it was loose. I guess after the rebuild the guy didnt tighten it all the way. My sanity is back, mission accomplished. Thanks for the help
