Ok I am going to beat this horse one more time. I have a 98 4-door sohc 65,000 and it has made a squealing noise off and on since it was new, sounds just like squealing brakes, I ignored it till recently because its getting embarrasing, replaced them twice, the second time was with the more expensive carbon metallic pads that the counter guy swore wouldnt squeal more than the cheap ones but would have less dust which makes more noise, made sence to me, brake on left side is the only one that ever did it, it does it at about 5 mph to about 30 mph Ive been told its everything but the brakes so I did this little test, ran it up to about 70 and did full brake stop several times to make them really hot to see if it would change, after about 3 times of this it did stop, but came back after they cooled, they also stop for a while after the car wash. I didnt turn the rotors because they were in tolerence and I sanded the glazing off but was that enough? please help

The slide pins on the caliper may be sticking. Do a search because there's plenty of info on the site about how to clean and lube them.

I greased the slide pins twice but Im still not sure there not sticking, I ran by the ford dealer today with my pride in my hand to see if they could tell me anything and they said it was the hub seals, they said ford had a fix for that problem but they want 170 bucks, I feel defeated so I think I will let them
