My 91 Explorer has developed a squeeking noise and is driving me crazy. Its coming from one of the pulleys or the belt. I changed the idle and tensioner pulley and that didnt help much. Then I put my spare alternator on and that helped alot but I still have a noise. I got some wd 40 on the pulley surface and that quited it down for a few minutes. Where do I go from here. I was going to get a used belt to try it out as I work at a Pick-N-Pull. But I noticed the setup on the tensioner and the idler are different on the 91 and 93, 94 models. Is that a better set up and is the belt the same length as the 91.
Thanks for any help you give me,
Deron
