I took of the shift motor from my transfercase, to see if the 4x4 would work i manual put it in 4x4 low and drove it on the beach.
The 4x4 works fine, this means my auto hubs and transfercase are working, however....
On the way home (back in 2x4 high) the transfercase sounded like a steam wislle and for a moment it felt like it was jaming and stopping the car.
The wissling sound went away,(i was hoping forgood) but home it made a sound that is hard to describe.

Did i just blow up my transfercase by driving it without the shiftmotor or sensors in place?
Or is there maybe another part under the car that might need further investigation?

And...How to drain, flush and refill the transfercase with oil?
