I just hit 65k on my 06 ED V8. I'm due for new brake pads (and probably rotors) soon, but recently I've started feeling a squishy, spongy feeling when i step on the brakes. I noticed it happens even if the car is still, or in park, so I imagine its more to do with the pedal and not the actual brake assembly. It sounds/feels like there's a piece of rubber interfering with the pedal.
Anyone else have a similar issue or know what it might be?
