SRS light

I was driving home tonight and the srs light starting flashing for 2-3mins then it will stay on... i noticed that it flashes 4 times then plauses..... then 4 times again then plauses.....truck has 142,000 miles... Clockspring maybe??Thanks for any help...

Blown fuse maybe, mine came on so I had ford check the codes, they replaced a blown fuse and cleared the code, said the fuse was what caused it.

It stayed off for 10days then started flashing at me agene sure enough the fuse had blown again, so I replaced the fuse but the SRS light is still on.

Is there anyway to clear the code without going to ford as they charge $50 to hook it up read it and clear it and it annoys the hell out of my paying $50 for something that simple, In Australia Ford are the only people who can plug into the on-bord computer. Have tried unhooking the Batt for 15minutes but didn’t work.

What might cause the Fuse to blow?, I have a almost dead battery could this maybe be linked to it.

Sorry, both times the SRS light started flashing it happened as soon as I started the car.
