I have a 1994 ford explorer 4wd automatic, when it's running it runs smooth and performs well BUT I could be setting at a stop sign or light and it will shudder then die; with a little patience it wil start back up and may not do it again till the next stop OR it wil start running rough then die. I know from past expeirence there are several things that could be the problem. I'm a little low on funds so is there any way of narrowing down the possiblities without going through an expensive trial and error or getting a dionogsitc check up?
