hey everyone,

i drive a 94 explorer limited edition. it has 312k miles on it. the problem i am having is when i put it into drive from reverse it seems to stall out and when i am turning left or right for the first time it stalls out. when i give it a little more gas it comes out of the stall. i'm not real good at working on vehicles, i'm hoping someone can help me out fixing this problem. Thanks!

Mine used to stall out whenever I shiifted into reverse. I remember doing the two footed thing with one on the accelerator and one on the brake to keep it from stalling. I can't remember exactly what solved my issue because I changed so many things at one time during an overhaul.

First thing I would try is cleaning your IAC (Idle air control valve). If cleaning it helps then I would go ahead and plan on replacing it.
