i want to create a mud/normal trail friendly rig at fairly decent price
i was thinking tires and some lifting to accommodate.

problem? during the winter my electronic 4wd got stuck in 4wd. front differential and what not later its fixed however how can i stop this from happening in the future

I dont think you can do much to stop this in the future. Parts fail whenever. Can't say to much other then just replace the parts as they break. But since you got it fixed you should be good to go again for a while. On my 93 i would get stuck in 4wl which would really suck. I think my shift motor was going on that truck though.

i hear alot of talk about axles and lockers and what not. im just a 17 yr old kid, tryna get on some trails nothing to crazy, got little over 2 grand for tires and what not to get me started, any suggestions on an easy and cheap trail rider, i have a 95 explorer xlt

Stick with ATs. You can do a body lift for like $300 and shackles and a torsion twist for $75 and fit 33'' ATs.
