1999 Ford Explorer Bower
We got a 1999 Explorer, Eddie Bower Edition,

Has about 198,000 miles. Engine does run good for its high miles.

But only in the morning my wife has trouble keeping it running, until the engine stays running. Its alot worse when its cold in the morning, then when its warm in the morning.

Wondering if it would be some sensor, or plugs, or ....

Theres so much it could be, dont have a ton of money to keep changing everything out.

Would like to get some ideas where to atleast start.

i got a different answer from 5 different guys at work. so thats a lost cause lol.
Were trying to get the truck in decent shape to sell it.

Check the engine coolant temp sensor.
Clean the throttle body
Check and or clean the IACV.
If you have the SOHC Motor, you may have leaking intake manifold gaskets.
