When my truck has set up for awhile and i go to start it it seems to hesitate just a little bit before starting but after it is started and i shut it off i can go back right afterwards and crank it up without the hesitation. Does anyone know what might cause this?

When you start it do you allow the fuel pump time to cycle before cranking the engine over? If you don't the fuel pressure doesn't get a chance to build up and the engine doesn't like to start. Next time you go to start it turn the key to the run position and listen for the fuel pump to cycle, then try starting it.

i have the same problem except when it does not start a vaccume hose blows off .
