I have a problem from time to time with the truck starting after running. It acts like the batt. is dead. Now if I get a jump or let it sit for awhile it starts like nothing was wrong. This doesn't happen all the time; sometimes it will start 20 times a day for weeks.

Next time it doesn't start, check the headlights. If they are bright, the battery is good and the problem is elsewhere. Check your cable connections, clean your battery and battery posts. I've seen nasty battery connections cause probably 90% of intermittant starting problems.
