starting

When i go to start my x after it sat for about 8 hrs it seem to jump up to about 1400 then it stumbles to about 400-500 almost die then it starts to idle fine, any ideas.

is this only after the truck has set for a period of time? if so check your kap (keep alive power ) circut to the computer sounds like the comp is having to relearn every thing after it sets anyone else have any thoughts?
