Anybody ever made a custom stealth place for the sub, I was actually thinking it might be possible to put some free air subs where my 5x7s are in the rear or possibly putting something in the middle console. Any ideas or pics? I need to have the flat space in the back without boxes or amps or wires sticking out. Also anyone ever installed an amp in between the body panels where the speakers are at there seems to be an awful lot of room in there.

i rember seeing a dude who built an amp rack for inbetween the panels he also glassed some sub enclosures for in there using some 10" subs do some searching on the web you should find it, the install was documented step by step good luck

Instead of spending $500 on a JL stealth box (which I have and love), you could build one yourself:

The amp is trickier, but can be done.

Hey guys that looks great, one problem though is I have the factory amp (did'nt even know I had it until last night!) right where those amps are at and I only want to add a sub amp so i can probably just pull it down and mount them together. As for the subs I was thinking of putting a free air sub where the cargo carrier is, and putting a cover over it (someone else on here made a perfect cardboard cutout of theirs and stretched a t-shirt over it and glued it looks completly stock.) Although now that I see a sub will fit where my speakers are at it is tempting, Only thing is I don't want to loose my 5x7s that are there:( I'm gonna continue to think it over for a few days, my goal is to do this as cheap as possible. Is anyone sure how to remove the side plastic molding? I started to pull it off but did'nt want to be to hasty. Thanks.
